"Delivery Service Needs Improvement"
The last couple of times I got cat food and litter delivered, they were just thrown in front of my door, and every bag ended up bursting. It was a total disaster. I’m done with this. I’d much rather back local shops.

"You're on your own if things go south"
I recently got a 6.5kg bag of cat kibble, and to my dismay, it showed up damp and greasy. This is definitely not how this pet food should be. So, I reached out to their customer service with some photos as evidence. After a week, they told me they’d get to my issue soon. The next day, I called the returns number and set up a pickup for the next day. But guess what? DPD didn’t show up. I called again, arranged another pickup, and once more, no one came. By this point, I was over the 14-day return window. I’m completely done with this site. I’m appalled at how they treat their customers. Plus, the delivery takes forever.

"Highly Competitive"
This site is likely the best for dog food deals. Even though they claim a '.ie' domain, they're really located in The Netherlands, so you should plan for about a week for delivery.

"Regular User of Zooplus - Highly Recommended"
I've been a regular customer of Zooplus for a few years now. Delivery typically takes about a week, though I live in a pretty remote area. Their customer service is solid, prices are fair, and the variety of products is impressive. Plus, the bonus points program is a nice touch. I’d definitely recommend them. I took off one point due to the sometimes sluggish delivery.

"My Initial Experience with Zooplus"
As a first-time shopper at Zooplus, I had my doubts due to some negative feedback. However, after checking out the positive comments, I figured out that Zooplus is pretty awesome, offering the best prices in Ireland. Sure, my order ships from Holland, but honestly, who cares? They’re upfront about being a German company, and the service is top-notch. I understand they send out orders in bulk with DPD, so tracking can be a tad slower. I received my package on December 22nd.

It's best to steer clear in December. They take their sweet time packing items and are super slow with shipping too. Normally, they're a solid company to work with, but I've noticed their prices have gone up quite a bit lately, and the processing speed has really dropped.

"Great Deals at Zooplus!"
I always find fantastic prices at Zooplus. Since Brexit, it takes a bit longer for my orders to arrive in Ireland because they can't use their UK depot anymore; everything now ships from the Netherlands or Germany in container loads, which is why tracking info takes a while to update. If I run into any issues, I just message them on Facebook at ZooplusUK, and they usually respond within a few hours. I typically place my order on Wednesdays, and it shows up the following Monday. It really saves me a ton on my Hill's Vetfood!

"Thought I was buying local from Ireland..."
Being from Ireland, I figured I was shopping local since they use the .IE domain. Turns out, they're actually based in Germany. So, expect your orders to take over a week to show up. It's honestly ridiculous how they mislead folks into thinking they're an Irish company when they're really in Germany. Plus, DPD has had my package for three days and it hasn’t even budged. I seriously suggest you shop somewhere else and double-check where your stuff is coming from. My order might as well be on Mars. Oh, and I tried to get a refund, but they refused because of the slow delivery. What a shady company.

"Beware of the .ie domain"
I realize I should've done my research beforehand, but I placed an order last weekend. It got processed on Monday, and now it's Thursday, yet tracking info hasn't kicked in. I reached out to customer support and got a typical cut-and-paste reply that essentially states tracking only begins once the order arrives in Ireland (from wherever it ships in the EU), and there's no clear way to know when that will happen. I won't be making another purchase.

I've been getting my pet supplies from Zooplus for ages. No issues at all, really good bang for your buck and the customer service is super helpful if you need it. Deliveries typically show up in about 2-3 working days. Awesome company! 👍

"Zooplus Customer Service Disappointment"
Absolutely no stars... I ordered €170 worth of dog food from Zooplus for delivery to Ireland. They use DPD for shipping. This is how DPD handles your packages: tossing them over a 7-foot gate in pouring rain. We ended up with broken boxes and lost items, which, when we found them, were completely ruined from being soaked and left in a spot where we couldn't open the electric gates from the road. It's a disgraceful situation, and their response was to claim the items were damaged during transit and to reach out to my supplier. Unbelievably, DPD tossed another box from Zooplus over that same gate the very next day. I've sent 14 emails to Zooplus over the past 12 days, but all I get back is a standard, generic reply. They say DPD hasn't responded to them, so there's nothing they can do. Zooplus insists they will only use DPD for shipments to Ireland...? UPDATE: ZOOPLUS IS SHOWING COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS... STILL CLAIMING THEY'RE IN TOUCH WITH DPD... IT'S BEEN 3 WEEKS.

"Ordered some vitamins for my pup"
I ordered some vitamins for my pup, and they provided a tracking number along with a confirmation that my order was shipped. A few days later, I received an email claiming that I had reached out to customer service and returned the item, so they would process a refund for my order... I never got in touch with anyone, so now I gotta search for vitamins somewhere else. This company is a total joke!
